I think this is the one that I enjoyed the most and it’s really the wonderful beats in his story and how good Zanjoe Marudo and Maja Salvador are in the film.

I’m also really enjoying this surge of romantic movies in the Philippines that are very modern and progressive and are sending out the messages that love isn’t easy and that love isn’t always the answer.

I think that’s so important in this day and age to not romanticize the idea of romance and love. I love it that all the new set of romantic movies — comedy and drama — are focused on that and focus on getting your own person fixed first before committing to anybody else.

That is something I can get behind and, hopefully, more films in the future continue this push.
