Relentlessly Creepy, ‘Hereditary’ Gets Under Your Skin and Never Lets You Go (ClickTheCity)

I love horror films and Hereditary really answers the call for a good horror film. It’s been awhile since I saw a good horror film. The Witch was probably the last horror film that has stuck in my head. If I’ve seen others, they might have been good but they don’t leave a lasting impression.

Before The Witch it was The Conjuring. But now, it’s from the same producers as The WitchHereditary is a mind fuck that is excellently directed and wonderfully acted.

The always amazing Toni Colette in Oscar-winning form in ‘Hereditary’ (she better get nominated for this)

Toni Colette better get a nomination for her performance here. This is a cross between her work in The Sixth Sense and United States of Tara.

I hope this movie does well. Apparently, Ari Aster, the first time director and writer, has a sequel planned. Though I’d rather they just make a new movie. But if the idea is great, why not? But if they can do this on their first go, I can’t wait to see what else Ari Aster can come up with.

I’m eager to find out.
