I saw Young Adult a few years back and I loved it so much despite it being such a difficult movie to experience because of the subject matter and how committed Charlize Theron was to her role. It was dazzling and I never forgot it. Now, the same team who brought us Young Adult have reunited to bring us Tully. Jason Reitman, Diablo Cody, and Charlize Theron do not disappoint whatsoever. It’s beautiful, moving tale that is both refreshing but also still creepy at the same time.

Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis are phenomenal in this. The movie is so relentless and surprising and, though I caught on to the mystery halfway through, it is still a powerful, quiet film about what women who don’t have the means would have to go through as mothers of three children.
I hope this movie does well. It’s so good.
