‘Bright’ tackles too much and comes out underdeveloped (InterAksyon)

So I was invited to the cinema premiere of Bright a week ago and I was so scared that I wasn’t going to enjoy it because I heard so many bad things about it online. I do find the premise interesting and it reminded me of Alien Nation, and I really loved that film.

So I went to the screening and I was so saddened because I did not like it at all.

And under utilized Joel Edgerton and Will Smith in Netflix’s Bright

I’ve really given up on Will Smith. I haven’t enjoyed a film of his in a long, long time and the few that I did (like Focus) did not wow me as much as his films used to and someone always steals the show from him (like Margot Robbie).

And they prematurely green lit a sequel, so that’s kind of disappointing.
