‘American Made’ is hilariously subversive (InterAksyon)

I’ve become a Tom Cruise fan after Collateral. I saw a different Tom Cruise in that film, a man who began to embrace his celebrity status and started to act through it, rather than with it. His films that followed showed so much depth and maturity in his performances and the choices he makes, alongside with his creative collaborators were all such great creative choices that his films have become so enjoyable. Well, except for his version of The Mummy.

But I read he did The Mummy so he could do American Made and I can see why he’d settle for that sort of arrangement. American Made is a spectacular film and I’m so happy I got to see it and something like it is out there.
