The genius of ‘Love You to the Stars and Back’ is what is hidden in the genre (InterAksyon)

I’m a huge fan of Antoinette Jadaone. I don’t think that’s a secret. I was excited for this film but also because I was so intrigued about all this Joshua Garcia hype that’s going around. How charming can one young man be? I was finally going to see it for myself.

Was I surprised. Love You to the Stars and Back is one of Antoinette Jadaone’s tightest, strongest work and Joshua Garcia is so good. He’s amazing. Really charming and his chemistry with Julia Barretto is off the charts. I’m so happy to have caught it.

Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto struck gold with this film

I just wish I wrote more about the chicken that becomes a supporting character at some point in the film. But I only had so many words to write my review and there’s so many great things to talk about in this film.

Really, if you had to see one Filipino romantic comedy, it would have to be this. It’s a lot deeper than it appears and it’s so wonderfully charming.
