I’m thinking of redesigning my blog again. I’m thinking of making it more professional. I’m thinking of paying the annual rate for a straight on “.com” website address. A friend was suggesting a new design system. I hate to brag, but I am almost pushing to 2,000 followers here and I never thought I’d ever reach that point. I never thought I’d be even remotely that interesting to garner so much readers. I’m really thankful to all of you who come here and read the weird and strange thoughts that run free in my head.
The least I could do is level-up, right? I should try to make my blog easier to read, somehow, and make it prettier to look at. I don’t know. I just thought that it would do nicely with a touch up.
What do you think? I’d love to hear from you all.
I was wondering if I should somehow streamline the categories. I seem to get a lot of responses from entries about writing. I also get a lot of responses from my poems. And then I get another set of responses from my thoughts on HIV, LGBTQ issues, and the community. I don’t seem to get much responses when it comes to my boring life. *everybody laugh* Maybe I can somehow focus on what people seem to be interested in.
I’m just scared of having to learn how to transfer the entries here on another site. I’ll figure it out.
Who knows? Maybe I could become a professional blogger? *everybody laughs*
I’m just musing out loud. I don’t know yet. But 1,800+ followers is no laughing matter and I appreciate all of you for following me and taking an interest. I really, truly appreciate it.
I’ll probably start working on the idea more when I get back to Bacolod. Here in Manila, I have too much I want to do. Something like that requires tons of research on my part and planning and all of which I can do from Bacolod. Here, I want to take advantage of being in the midst of the action and looking for new places to write.
So, maybe I’ll hear from you (or maybe not) and we’ll see how it goes. But if the site suddenly changes or I announce a new website address or whatnot, you can say you heard it here first.
