A Grand Finale: a review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

My review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is out on Juice and I think this might be my last article for the website for 2014. I think I’ll be spending the last two weeks of December just regrouping and working on some big projects that are finally moving forward and I’m going to refigure how I will be doing my writing for Juice. I think it’s a good time to update my style for reviewing.

But for the meantime, here’s where you can read my last review for 2014: A Grand Finale: a review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

I liked the film but, as a fantasy geek and a lover of the books and the world that Peter Jackson put together. As a filmmaker, I thought that it was bloated and stretched itself unnecessarily. On a personal level, I loved it. I enjoyed myself and had so much fun. On a professional level, I wouldn’t have done it that way. The book could have and should have been done in two films or one really long film.
