Counting the reasons to stop counting

Countless stars

Countless because, though we can see them, some are already dead

Countless bottles downed in one gulp

Countless because we’ve forgotten or choose not to remember

Countless seconds spent waiting

Countless because it stretches on backwards and forwards, forever

Countless tears

Countless because they rival oceans in their volume

Countless sighs, countless breaths

Countless because the lungs always want more

Countless

Count less

Can’t with less

I’m done with having less

I want more

Live more

Love more

Count no more
