Damn! I really like the title of this entry. I think I’m going to write a poem with that as the title. But that’s for another time.
Tomorrow morning, I’m getting on my friend’s car and heading off to Bataan for two days and one night of rest. My head has been everywhere but where it has to be and things are moving and I have to get myself prepared and ready for the amount of heavy writing that is coming to me in the coming weeks.
I’m leaving my computer behind. I’m bringing my sunglasses, my swimming shorts, my kindle, and none of my baggage. I have a date with the sea and the sand and, I hope, the sunshine. It has been raining lately and cloudy but I need this. I need this now.
Of course, I’m bringing my phone because I need to take photos but I have no plans of working. I’m leaving all of that behind for one night and I hope to come back ready and able.
I’ve been too far away from the sea. I have to return to my spiritual home.
